LABORATORY
A medical or clinical laboratory is a place where tests are done on clinical specimens so as to obtain information about the health of a patient with respect to prevention, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of disease.
At Ifebi medical centre laboratory, these tests are carried out by qualified and experienced medical laboratory scientists using modern instruments & equipment. A medical laboratory is a place where biological samples are analyzed for purposes of screening, diagnosis, follow-up, treatment and prevention of disease. Haematology:
Full Blood Count:(PCV Haemoglobin, Total WBC and differential, platelet count) Erythrocyte sedimentation rate, Blood group determination, Haemoglobin electrophoresis(genotype), MP, HIV Screening, HBsAg(Hepatitis B Screening)
Microbiology:

DIALYSIS:
This is the procedure that helps the body perform functions of failed kidneys – removal of waste products, regulation of body's fluid balance. Kidney failure can occur from an acute event or injury or due to a chronic condition or disease.
Ifebi Medical Centre has one of the most functional dialysis units in the state and is the first hospital to set up such facility in Awka and its environs. Ifebi Medical Centre Awka receives referrals from within and outside the country and have successfully dialyzed numerous patients with acute kidney disease and chronic kidney disease.

The department of obstetrics and gynaecology is a functional unit that performs counseling for married couples with infertility, sex selection and other related medical conditions. We also conduct a comprehensive family planning for families.
